Camp Best of Himachal is a unit of Himachal Journey Explorations engaged in the promotion of adventure tourism in the state of Himachal. The camps are run and managed by professionally trained nature loving youths. The camps are situated at Mashobra 2150m 13 Kms from Shimla and at Sarahan 2165 m. 170 kms from Shimla respectively.
Camp Best of Himachal Shimla (20th April - 5th July & 5th Oct - 30th Nov.)
Camp Best of Himachal Sarahan (10th July to 30th Sep.)
Facilities:-
Deluxe Swiss cottage style tents (Alpine Tents for Groups) absolutely waterproof and windproof with attached bath and toilets, double bedded with centre table, luggage racks, camping chairs and sprawling lawns for recreational activities. Buffet meals (veg & non-veg) in the open during daytime and around bonfire or in dining tent at nights. Laundry, telephone, doctor on call, interactive events, and indoor games like carom, chess and in house library are the amenities provided. Transport to and from Shimla bus stand, railway station and airport is available on demand. Camps are drive in and the roads leading to the Camps are excellent.
Activities:-
Trekking, mobile camping, leisure walks, horse riding, study tours, rappelling, Rock climbing, Burma bridge, river crossing, Commando rope walking, river rafting and jeep safaris are our special interest activites. Escorted excursion tours in and around Shimla adds fun to adventure holidays. From here, one can drive to the nearby places like Naldehra golf grounds, Tatapani (hot sulfur water springs) kufri, wildflower hall, Narkanda and Chail Juxtapose the era of bygone and modern. From Camp Best Of Himachal at Sarahan, Sangla valley, Spiti Valley and beyond to Leh is an-experience of a life time. We offer prescribed itineraries, however, tailor made itineraries are also available. An excusive Camping Site that we operate seasonally, however during rest of the year, we continue with adventure activities in association with Camp Potters Hill in Shimla, Igloo Camps, Banjara Camps in Sangla-Kinnaur and Wildside – an Eco Retreat at Sarahan.
